I see myself more as a photographer than as a travel writer. Sometimes, I hate being a perfectionist. I often find myself wandering back to a spot I fell in love with, to recapture the scene in a different light. I see light as a positive energy; light and shadow are captivating, they breathe life into my photos. I wander a lot. As I wander, I take photographs. Over the years, I have been fortunate to travel to many less explored places, capturing vignettes of local cultures and peoples. My works have been featured in publications in Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong, as well as Conde Nast Traveller (China) and National Geographic Traveller (India). In January 2018, I published my first travel book entitled "On a journey with you" with my childhood friend. In May 2018, I held my first multi-sensory travel photo exhibition in Singapore titled "Shine".
